Cookie policy

Last updated: August 31, 2026 · Draft, not yet in force

This page explains, as a draft, how Paycux would use cookies and similar technologies on this website and in the dashboard.

How we use cookies

Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser so it can recognise you on a later visit or remember a choice you made. We would use them for a small number of reasons: keeping you signed in, remembering preferences, and understanding how the site is used in aggregate so we can improve it.

Categories of cookies we set

Strictly necessary

Used to keep you signed in and to remember security-related choices. The site would not work properly without these, so they cannot be turned off from the cookie banner.

Preference

Remembers small choices, like a dismissed banner or a selected theme, across visits.

Analytics

Helps us understand aggregate usage — which pages are visited and for how long — so we can improve the site. Any analytics provider we use would be named on this page before it is switched on; none is listed yet.

Third-party

Occasionally set by an embedded third-party tool, such as a support chat widget. As with analytics, any such provider would be named here once selected.

Disabling cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings, and through the cookie banner on this site for anything other than strictly necessary cookies. Disabling non-essential cookies should not break core functionality, but disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from staying signed in.

  • Session cookies expire automatically when you close your browser.
  • Persistent cookies stay until they expire or you clear them yourself.
